Thrombosis Management – Bayer
THROMBOSIS MANAGEMENT – BAYER
Thrombosis Management is an annual meeting for physicians of all disciplines who have an interest in the treatment and prevention of thromboembolic disease.
In it's seventh year, the brand needed an evolution - of visuals, signage and entire audience experience. The brief called for a more ‘connected’ feel – a network of expertise. A community brought together.
The design incorporates a series of points that represent individuals. Key creative elements have their foundations in these points and the many surfaces they create - to come together to create a cohesive whole working in concert – underlining the concept that the whole cannot exist without the individuals.
1700 delegates attended the event in Barcelona over the course of two days. I was on-site to ensure the smooth running of both the A.V. implementation and the installation of signage.
Due to the importance of the rebrand - I took the decision to be sole designer of the branding and print. I created a large suite of materials to support the event, designs were tackled concurrently across various touchpoints to ensure consistency.
I initiated and oversaw the internal creation of 3D assets to use in print and digital.
As well as appearing on large format signage, the Vascular journey experience was projected onto the event screens.

The 3D and motion video was projected onto a huge 8:1 ratio screen. I requested a programmed lighting scheme that worked in concert with the imagery.
Early on in the process, I designed a particle approach in After Effects using Trapcode Form and Plexus to carry the points theme through into the bridging motion graphics videos. A motion designer was brought in to apply this style to multiple sequences.
